Joinpro, a leading cabinet-making company, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Factory Manager to oversee our production operations. As a Factory Manager at Joinpro, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of our factory and driving our team towards success.Key Responsibilities:
- Production Planning: Review production schedules and ensure the factory produces what is needed to meet customer demands
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor factory team members to improve individual and team performance
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that Quality Checks are completed, defects are eliminated, and accurate records are maintained
- Recruitment & Training: Hire and train new factory staff to maintain a skilled workforce
- Inventory Management: Oversee incoming delivery procedures of materials and manage stock and storage areas for optimal efficiency
- Performance Analysis:** Analyze production outputs and implement strategies to enhance results
- Resource Procurement: Order consumables, tools, and equipment as required for seamless operations
- Maintenance Support: Assist with operator maintenance tasks and manage tools and equipment
- Lean Principles: Coach the team in 5S, Kanban, the 8 Wastes, and other Lean Principles to drive process improvements
- Continuous Improvement: Encourage and implement team suggestions for greater process efficiency
- Flexibility:Undertake any other tasks as reasonably requested
- HSQC: Contribute to the continual improvement of Environmental, Quality & OHS Systems
- Cabinet Making Qualification is essential
- Experience in running a workshop or production team is required
- Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in managing and mentoring team members
- Proficiency in time management and problem-solving
- Initiative and adaptability in approaching work tasks
- IT proficiency, including office technology
- Knowledge of Environmental, Quality & OHS Management Systems
- Current driver's license
- Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving business needs
