Senior Proposal Development Manager

Location: Remote (For Non-Local) or Hybrid (Local to NYC area)

Position Responsibilities:

  • Direct and execute RFP proposal development and submission for new Pharmacy Benefit Administration (PBA) business opportunities with a government programs (ie. Medicare and Medicaid) component and/or large commercial Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) opportunities.
  • Coordinate with sales and other stakeholders to manage proposal development for all incoming and outstanding RFP opportunities.
  • Review RFP documents and requirements; manage the allocation of internal resources to develop a complete response.
  • Coordinate with underwriting and subject matter experts to submit timely and complete RFP responses.
  • Collaborate with Executive Leadership and other business functions (sales, marketing, account management) to design, refine, and maintain competitive value proposition.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of SOPs to support PBA/PBM RFP response development and submission.
  • Responsible for adherence to the Capital Rx Code of Conduct including reporting of noncompliance.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate bachelor’s degree, with record of strong academic performance in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications or another related field of study.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in proposal writing, technical writing, and/or project management.
  • Ability to work independently and within a cross-functional team.
  • Demonstrable excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail & commitment to delivering a high quality work product.
  • Extremely flexible, highly organized, and able to shift priorities easily.
  • Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and balance a range of key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Track record of leading cross-functional initiatives, driving high performance, and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and other editing software.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy benefit industry trends and best practices.
  • Ability to write and customize standard language to meet unique RFP/client requirements.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including technical copy editing.
  • Passion for learning, including intricacies of pharmacy benefits products and services.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree and technical writing experience preferred.

Base Salary: $90,000 - $115,000
