Responsibilities:
- Assist in the accounting and reporting for the global entities of the Group
- Interact with accounting operations team to ensure correct recording of vendor bills received and company invoices issued.
- Manage the recording of banking activity for monthly management accounting
- Assist in calculating funding requirements monthly for entities and communicating with treasury department
- Prepare monthly/quarterly/annually financial reports for global entities in compliance with local GAAP and for group consolidation reporting
- Prepare VAT returns monthly and submit to the respective tax authority
- Prepare income tax returns & submission to respective tax authorities (CIT returns)
- Support Group and statutory audit queries; investigating and resolving issues efficiently. Liaise with the local accounting and compliance advisors - - on various ad hoc matters
- Documenting processes and procedures in line with SOX requirements
- Maintain financial controls on all processes to meet SOX requirements
- Support the Finance team in design, testing and roll-out of financial reporting systems/tools/processes and other ad-hoc projects
Requirements:
- University degree in economics/ finance/accounting or/and ACCA qualified
- Accounting for daily operations of legal entities (fixed assets, expenses, accounts payable, personnel reimbursements, etc.)
- Banking operations and cash flow planning
- Support of annual audits (responses to requests)
- Special management requests (for financial analysis, cost control, etc.)
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS
- Comfortable user of MS office tools; and finance tools (knowledge of NetSuite is an asset)
- Strong work ethic with a passion for financial analysis and reporting
- Comfortable working with big volume of information and data
