As the Area Manager you will be the driving force behind our on-site marketing campaigns! With sports betting live in the Tar Heel state, we’re on a mission to make the experience exciting, easy, and unforgettable at our partnered bars around the city. And we’re looking for lively, outgoing personalities to help us do it.
About the Role
We’re on the lookout for a dynamic, people-focused Area Manager to take the lead in managing our on-site marketing operations across bars in North Carolina. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, love building and leading teams, and have a knack for driving sales through engaging customer experiences—this could be your perfect gig!
You’ll be responsible for recruiting, training, and managing a team of Brand Ambassadors who bring our partner brands to life. You’ll also forge strong relationships with local bars, ensuring our campaigns run smoothly while hitting sales targets. It’s a mix of strategy, management, and good old-fashioned hustle.
Responsibilities
- Build and lead a top-notch team of Brand Ambassadors, ensuring they’re equipped to sell and engage customers effectively.
- Expand our reach by leveraging your hospitality connections to secure partnerships with new bars and expand campaign coverage.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with bar managers and staff to ensure solid collaboration.
- Keep operations smooth—manage schedules, oversee staff coverage, and make sure ambassadors are trained on our partners products.
- Track performance and provide coaching to drive sales and hit targets.
- Be the problem solver—handle any operational hiccups, from staffing challenges to customer concerns.
- Document customer interactions and maintain data related to our partners to optimize performance.
- Assist in Recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new team members to keep our coverage strong.
- Boost sales by developing creative strategies to engage customers and maximize sign-ups.
- Provide the necessary support to brand ambassadors to enable them to generate sales and increase revenue.
Requirements
- Leadership experience—you’ve managed teams and know how to drive performance.
- Experience within the hospitality, field marketing, or sports betting industry is preferred but not required
- Sales and operations know-how—you get what it takes to hit targets and keep things running smoothly.
- Excellent organizational skills—you can juggle schedules, monitor KPIs, and stay on top of the details.
- A people person—you’re great at building relationships with both your team and external partners.
- Flexibility—this role requires evenings and weekends to match peak hours in the bar scene.
- A valid driver’s license and ability to travel around North Carolina.
- 21+ (this is a bar-based role, after all!).
- A positive, outgoing personality—you’re comfortable striking up conversations with strangers and leading a team to do the same.
- Nice to have: Sports knowledge (but not required — enthusiasm is what we’re after!)
