This is a great opportunity to join a growing finance team in a global public listed company. The accounts assistant will support the finance team ensuring the efficient running of processes across the group and the on-time delivery of accurate month-end results.

Responsibilities

  • Accurate and timely customer invoicing and payment tracking
  • Report to operations manager on debtor’s payment status
  • Supporting invoice & expense payments following approval process
  • Assist on monthly balance sheet reconciliations for review and audit
  • Take responsibility for your duties following company processes and controls
  • Ensure appropriate documented files are maintained & filed for review
  • Support the team to drive technology/automation advancements within Finance
  • Ad hoc projects and reports.

Requirements

  • Strong aptitude for numerical accuracy and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Degree in Business discipline is an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work well within a team environment and a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • The ability to work at a pace that matches the requirement of a fast-moving business.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in Oracle systems and or in the industry is an advantage
