We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to join the team.

Responsibilities:

As our UI/UX Designer your main responsibilities will be:

  • Define and improve the interface and experience of internal systems
  • Design features that fit within the larger experience and flows
  • Identify user needs and behaviours through user group feedback, usability tests, surveys, interviews, and contextual research
  • Illustrate ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
  • Comprehend complex business requirements and user stories
  • Work with Product Managers, Developers and Engineers to iterate on and refine the existing experience
  • Stay informed and share the latest on UI/UX techniques, tools, and patterns
  • Understand responsive design and best practices
  • Have knowledge and understanding of design systems theory and practice, HTML, CSS
  • Create wireframes, clickable prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups with a variety of design and prototyping tools such as InVision, Adobe Suite, Sketch, Figma etc
  • Work with key stakeholders to deliver against the business’ commercial objectives
  • Work closely with team members and other teams such as SEO, Content and Product to ensure a collaborative approach to design
  • Participation in product meetings and have a granular understanding of the company’s goals
  • Understanding of agile practices

Requirements

  • 2-3 years minimum experience unifying and maintaining a UI and UX design across multiple teams with differing goals and priorities
  • BA degree in design related studies and/or a portfolio demonstrating user experience and visual design work
  • Expert knowledge of user-centered design principles
  • Experience working on responsive web apps, and designing for iOS is highly desired
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously and comfortable working in rapid iteration
  • Ability to advocate for UI consistency with designers, engineers, product managers, and executives through writing, visuals, and presentations
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards, inclusive design practices
