We are currently looking for an experienced Reporting Accountant to join our Finance Team based in Malta.

Responsibilities:

  • Period-end processes at the Group level (including preparation of consolidated accounts of the Group on monthly/quarterly/annually basis; review of controls over FRCP etc)
  • Resolving of accounting matters and preparation of technical accounting memos and policies to
    enhance the Group’s controls and workflows
  • Liaising with auditors and external consultants
  • Reporting to the Director, Financial Controlling

Requirements:

  • University degree in economics/ finance/accounting or/and ACCA qualified
  • Audit experience 5+ years with BIG4 companies with senior role experience
  • Experience in SOX compliance is a plus
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS
  • Comfortable user of MS office tools; and finance tools (knowledge of NetSuite is an asset)
  • Strong work ethic with a passion for financial analysis and reporting
  • Comfortable working with big volume of information and data
