Desirable Skills

• Have a journalistic background and/or worked on a news desk
• Are efficient with tools for crafting copy / transcription / improving general workflow efficiency
• Are familiar with submitting FOI’s, briefing in surveys and a variety of research methods to achieve desired outcomes
• Are either huge sports fans or love the entertainment industry (video games, reality tv, popular drama’s, movies, music)
• Knowledgeable of conversion-oriented copywriting tactics
• Experience with common SEO and digital marketing tools i.e. Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimized casino-related content. As a content writer, you will collaborate with different teams to develop content strategies, understand target audiences, and drive user engagement. The role demands excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver compelling content that aligns with the brand’s tone and goals. You need strong skills in communicating with and managing freelancers and an understanding of basic SEO practices, such as Htags, Keyword optimisation and competitor analysis in a must.

Responsibilities

• Write compelling and engaging copy for different website funnels.
• Hiring and instructing freelancers and maintaining a high output standard at all times.
• Content management in our CMS.
• Proofread, edit, and update existing copy and content.
• Keeping up to date with industry standards to constantly improve and optimise creative and transactional copy.
• Use tools such as Ahrefs to enhance on-site content.
• Work on ad-hoc projects related to content.

Requirements

• Excellent command of the English language
• knowledge of the igaming industry, specifically casino
• Proven experience in content writing or a similar role
• Strong editing and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Understanding of SEO
• Familiarity with JIRA is a plus.
