With over half of U.S. states now offering legal, regulated sports betting, and plenty more poised to do so in 2023 and beyond, the North American market is expected to be the future of the global online gambling industry. The Group’s acquisitions of RotoWire.com and BonusFinder.com and media partnerships with Gannett and the McClatchy Company in the last 12 months have strengthened its position in North America and positioned the Group for significant growth.

We’re looking for a Growth Marketing Manager who is passionate about the idea of expanding our reach even further and pushing the boundaries of our existing marketing tactics. Our aim is to find someone who wants to own the marketing strategy & execution of Rotowire consumer product(s) including app and subscription.

Requirements

  • Proactive and takes initiative. You should be able to generate ideas independently and execute them without needing specific direction.
  • An interest in sports, particularly fantasy sports and sports betting, is crucial.
  • We want to try new things and that requires thinking through things from first principles.
  • Focus on data driven / repeatable approaches rather than a "branding" specialist; comfortable measuring and reporting on any campaigns you run.
  • Experience working with ASO, MMP, social, web, data, analytics and performance tools.
  • Good understanding of the sports influencer marketing ecosystem and have ideas about how to leverage influencers.
  • Stay on top of the latest social media trends and tactics.
  • Ideally you would have some experience with marketing apps for IOS and Android and feel comfortable planning multi-stage app marketing campaigns.
  • Previous demonstrable skill of user acquisition / growth marketing in a B2C company or app startup.
  • Experience driving user acquisition on a global basis, taking into account regional variations and differentiators.
  • Work with developers and product to improve in-app engagement.
  • You should enjoy writing and be good at creating persuasive content (copywriting and SEO)
  • Hybrid - Must be commutable to Charlotte, NC Headquarters, or Madison, WI offices
