As part of our fleet servicing crew as a Diesel Mechanic, you'll travel between locations, performing an array of services on medium duty diesel vehicle fleet such as preventative maintenance, diagnosing and repairing vehicles while ensuring compliance and keeping a line of communication open between customers and internal teams.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines and related components.
- Diagnose and repair various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, engines, suspension, electrical, and HVAC.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to analyze vehicle malfunctions and determine appropriate repair methods.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and environmental regulations.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in diesel technology.
WHAT YOU BRING:
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, with a strong understanding of medium to heavy duty vehicle systems and components.
- A basic toolbox (heavier duty tools provided)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to drive; CDL preferred
WORKING CONDITIONS:
This job will involve occasional exposure to some disagreeable elements such as hot and cold temperatures, loud noises, dust/dirt and exhaust fumes.
