(Overnight Shift) ASE CERTIFIED MECHANIC

As a fleet Automotive Mechanic, you'll perform an array of services such as preventative maintenance, 109 point inspections, diagnosing and repairing vehicles while ensuring compliance and keeping a line of communication open between customers and internal teams. Must have at least one current ASE Certification to be considered.

SHIFT: OVERNIGHT 7pm-4am

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and potential problems.
  • Diagnose and repair various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, electrical, and HVAC.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements.
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to analyze vehicle malfunctions and determine appropriate repair methods.
  • Provide accurate estimates for repair costs and time required for completion.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
  • Test and verify repaired vehicles to ensure proper functioning and customer satisfaction.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry advancements, technical manuals, and service bulletins.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and environmental regulations.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic, with a strong understanding of vehicle systems and components.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and specialized tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and follow specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • ASE certifications are a plus.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This job will involve occasional exposure to some disagreeable elements such as hot and cold temperatures, loud noises, dust/dirt and exhaust fumes.
