GoHenry is a UK-based fintech company created by parents to pioneer financial education. More recently, GoHenry moved into Europe and the US by joining forces with French fintech company PixPay and US investing app, Acorns.

Together, Acorns, PixPay, and GoHenry have over 6 million members across 5 countries. GoHenry offers a debit card and app for kids and teens and companion apps for the family, with in-app tools for sending money, automating allowance, managing chores, setting savings goals, giving to charity, and in-app financial education lessons where kids can watch videos, take quizzes and earn points & badges. This is all designed to help kids and teens build good money habits that will last a lifetime.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior People Partner to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Note, minimum expectations for this role would be one day a week in our London office, in addition to two days a fortnight in our Farnborough office.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leaders to gain a nuanced understanding of the organisation, to design, develop and implement people strategies that align and directly support business objectives, aligning HR initiatives with our organisational goals
  • Act as a trusted partner, coaching managers on the full lifecycle of HR activities, providing insights and recommendations on HR best practices
  • Lead on employee relations issues, coaching managers to ensure we deliver fair and consistent processes and mitigate business risks
  • Ensure compliance with UK employment law, regulations, and best practices, minimising risks and maintaining high standards
  • Guide managers through performance management processes, including objectives, performance reviews, and development plans
  • Lead on change management initiatives, driving successful transitions and ensuring employee engagement and alignment during periods of change
  • Utilise analytics to identify trends, inform strategic decision-making, and measure the impact of People initiatives, including on business outcomes
  • Work collaboratively across the wider global HR group, including Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, People Operations, and Compensation and Benefits.
  • Champion a positive organisational culture, enhancing employee satisfaction and retention through engagement initiatives and recognition programs
  • Support and promote DEI initiatives, ensuring they are integrated into across people, and organisational practices

What we’re looking for

  • Substantive HR experience, business partnering with senior stakeholders in a generalist role acting as a coach and trusted advisor
  • Knowledge and awareness of employment legislation, best practices, and broader external trends
  • Experience leading on complex employee relations issues, including disciplinaries and grievances, bringing these to a timely conclusion and mitigating business risks
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to think strategically, understanding cost and value drivers to the organisation
  • Experience in delivering large-scale, complex, people initiatives or projects to time and budget constraints
  • Ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders, at all levels, with the ability to influence
  • A problem solver who can operate strategically, and deliver operationally
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment, whilst acting as a key member of the wider People team
