Health Recovery Solutions (HRS) is a full-service remote patient monitoring (RPM) and virtual care company. For 14 years, HRS has helped health systems, physician practices, home health agencies, payors, and pharmaceutical companies deliver care to patients wherever they are, combining hardware, software, clinical monitoring services, and logistics in one platform. More than 250 clients across all 50 states and Canada use HRS today, and the platform has monitored over 2 million lives.

Our vision is to transform care delivery and expand access to healthcare through the most clinically effective remote care solutions, in the home and across every care setting. We get there by building solutions that work for patients and clinicians, partnering closely with our clients, investing in a culture of innovation and ownership, and advancing clinical outcomes.

HRS programs support patients across more than 90 diagnoses, from post-surgical recovery to complex chronic disease management. Our clients use HRS to help reduce hospital readmissions, improve care plan adherence and patient satisfaction, and give clinicians care delivery models that lower costs and improve outcomes.

HRS has been recognized every year since 2020, including KLAS (Top 20 Emerging Solution and Top 5 for Improving Outcomes), AVIA 2024 Top RPM Company, the Frost & Sullivan Customer Value Leadership Award, U.S. News, Newsweek's World's Best Digital Health Companies, and TIME's World's Top HealthTech Companies 2026.

About the Role

HRS is adding a Business Development Representative (BDR) to our commercial team to lead outreach into the ambulatory market. This BDR will focus on targeting independent physician groups and practices, community health centers, and Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs). These organizations manage large populations with multiple chronic conditions, often with lean teams and tight margins, and Remote Patient Monitoring can extend what their clinicians are able to do between visits.

As a BDR, you will identify and engage practice leaders, medical directors, quality and population health leaders, and operations executives, then book qualified meetings for our Sales Executives. You will learn how ambulatory organizations are structured, funded, and measured, and tailor your outreach to the realities of each. We are looking for a motivated, results-oriented individual who is eager to learn and thrive in a fast-paced sales environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and prioritize physician groups and practices, community health centers, rural health clinics, and FQHCs that are a strong fit for HRS Remote Patient Monitoring.
  • Engage decision makers and influencers, including chief executive officers, chief medical officers, medical directors, practice administrators, quality and population health leaders, and operations executives, through cold calling, personalized emails, and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Understand and articulate the value of HRS's solutions to clinical and operational audiences in ambulatory settings.
  • Track relevant funding and policy developments affecting ambulatory and community health organizations, and bring those insights into prospecting strategy with your Sales Executives.
  • Generate qualified leads and schedule discovery meetings for Sales Executives, meeting monthly activity and pipeline quotas.
  • Collaborate with Sales Executives to develop customized prospecting strategies by segment, including multispecialty groups, primary care practices, and FQHC networks.
  • Use Salesforce, Salesloft, Apollo, Nooks, and Claude to research accounts, build contact lists, run outreach, and track leads effectively.
  • Maintain consistent outbound prospecting through high-volume calls and emails while staying flexible, organized, and responsive to shifting priorities.
  • Follow up promptly with leads from conferences and webinars to generate new pipeline opportunities.
  • Attend industry conferences, including ambulatory, primary care, and community health events, to identify new business opportunities and represent HRS's mission and solutions.

Requirements and Preferred Experience

  • 1-2 years in business development, account development, or a related role, ideally within healthcare technology or SaaS.
  • Familiarity with ambulatory care, physician practices, or community health settings is a plus, as is experience selling to Federally Qualified Health Centers or other safety-net organizations.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce, and experience with sales engagement and prospecting platforms such as SalesLoft, Apollo, and Nooks to manage outreach and engagement.
  • Interest in using AI tools such as Claude to speed up account research, personalize outreach, and organize insights.
