About the Role

The ideal candidate will champion collaboration across the Data, AI, Product Engineering teams, ensuring adherence to technical, product, and design principles. This role demands amplifying the effectiveness of a complex, cross-disciplinary team and working closely with key stakeholders. The successful candidate excels in a fast-paced, demanding environment, leveraging critical thinking and effective communication skills to bridge complex ideas across Engineering, AI, Product, Data, Marketing. With a strong grasp of agile values, principles, and techniques, you will act as the cohesive force within a productive, cross-functional team, fostering a transparent, open environment that balances user-centered processes with the practicalities of quality and speed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and articulate the strategic vision and roadmap for a new B2B product, focusing on scalability and performance through best in class architecture and solutions design.
  • Lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable solutions, advocating for software architecture best practices and cloud-native technologies.
  • Translate business objectives into detailed technical specifications and user stories for clear, actionable engineering guidance.
  • Manage the product lifecycle from concept to launch, balancing new features with technical debt resolution and operational excellence.
  • Act as the technical liaison between engineering and other teams, ensuring alignment on product strategy and execution.
  • Implement agile methodologies, leading scrum ceremonies and promoting best practices for efficient team operations.
  • Define and Monitor service performance and ensure high quality and standards.
  • Proactively communicate with stakeholders to gather feedback and manage expectations, building consensus for product direction.
  • Collaborate and come up with new ideas from internal and external stakeholders for data usage to monetise data, improve customer experience, improve customers lifetime value.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies and trends, fostering innovation and continuous learning within the team

About You

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. MBA is good to have.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a transition into product management showcasing a successful track record of managing technical products.
  • Deep understanding of Data and Data products, architecture for large data systems and solution design.
  • Strong technical background, with the ability to engage effectively with software engineers on complex technical issues.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and related services.
  • Familiarity with Microservices, Kafka, Postgres, DocumentDB, FLink, Spark, Martech SaaS platforms.
  • Hands on ability to query data (SQL), drive insights, and actions to recommend strategic product decisions.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of motivating and guiding teams towards achieving product vision and goals.
  • Agile/Scrum certification or significant experience working in agile development environments.
  • Preferably previous experience in the fintech industry (or eCommerce, other D2C companies, large Data and analytics CoE), particularly with financial services or payment systems.
  • Participations in hackathons (data solutions), open source portfolio.
  • Continuous learning mindset, with ongoing education or certifications in new technologies and product management methodologies.
