About the Role

The Systems Administrator II is responsible for the day-to-day operations of managing the company software, hardware, and networks. This is an active, hands-on position, responsible for managing, troubleshooting, and proactively updating hardware and software assets to prevent downtime from occurring. In addition, the role will support our office and remote locations. The position serves as liaison with internal and external groups to ensure the operations are aligned to internal IT standards, as well as external partner requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor performance and maintain systems, as well as troubleshoot issues and outages
  • Provide end-user IT support and SaaS administration and management
  • Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
  • Provisioning and deprovisioning of user and service account access to all MoneyLion systems and ensuring this is completed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Monitors systems associated with Identity and Access Management solutions; provides incident and problem management support
  • Proactively works with technology and product managers to identify potential issues and ensures effective remediation
  • Install and configure computer systems, diagnosing hardware and software faults and solve technical and applications problems, either over the phone or in person. Ability to replace hardware as required.
  • Work with department heads to develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.
  • Assist in defining and implementing IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Involvement in projects as needed as determined by the scope and related to the job function.

About You

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Business, Communications or related field
  • minimum of 1-3 years of relevant technical experience
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience with managing computer operations
  • ITIL Foundation Certification (preferred) or alternate relevant certification
  • Knowledge of current trends in IT best practices
  • Solid experience on managed networking, UTM firewall and DaaS (Directory-as-a-Service)
  • Strong experience in cloud computing, productivity, and collaboration tools
