About the role

This is a senior marketing manager position, based in Germany, Austria or Switzerland, that will be play a crucial role in developing and executing growth strategies with some of Europe’s largest telcos, banks and insurance companies. The role will support the broader EMEA Strategic Partnership sales team who deliver Norton Cyber Safety solutions to consumers and small businesses through B2B2C partnerships.

As part of the Partner Marketing Team within the Marketing, Brand and Communications (MBC) organization at Gen, you will have a good understanding how to work and strategize at senior levels within telecommunications and financial service providers. You will build campaigns with our partners that drive sales and product activation in the consumer and small-business markets. In addition to working closely with the DACH team, this position will also help support the rest of the European market.


Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution

You will be responsible for crafting comprehensive marketing strategies that are tightly aligned with both our, and our partner’s, business objectives and sales targets. This includes collaborating with the partner’s marketing and sales leaders to create campaigns that reflect the unique go-to-market needs of each strategic partner. Success in this role will require a deep understanding of partner business models and the ability to translate that insight into well-defined growth plans. Your strategic vision will serve as the foundation for measurable, results-driven marketing execution.

Partner Collaboration and Relationship Management

Building and nurturing strong relationships with key strategic partners will be a core part of your role. Working alongside Gen partner sales managers, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders within partner organizations, aligning Norton’s value proposition with their long-term business goals. You will be expected to facilitate regular strategic planning discussions and ensure that joint marketing efforts are effectively synchronized across all touchpoints.

Marketing Program Leadership

You will design and deliver innovative marketing programs that activate demand for Norton’s solutions through partner channels. These programs will be creatively developed to engage both partner marketing and sales teams, driving awareness and revenue growth in key markets. Your work will include oversight of campaign planning, execution, and performance analysis, ensuring each initiative contributes to the growth of our Cyber Safety footprint.

Enablement and Sales Acceleration

A crucial part of your role will involve enabling partner teams to successfully market and sell Norton’s solutions. You will lead initiatives focused on partner education, onboarding, and sales enablement, equipping teams with the tools, messaging, and training required to reach their audiences effectively. Collaboration with Gen product marketing and product management teams will be essential to ensure alignment with evolving market needs, particularly around scam protection, identity, privacy, and security.

Cross-functional Collaboration and Regional Growth

You will work closely with the EMEA Strategic Partner team to uncover new opportunities with existing partners and identify growth potential in new accounts and verticals. This collaborative approach will ensure our GTM will remain adaptive, data-informed, and regionally optimized. In doing so, you will play a key role in expanding our presence and influence in the European consumer cybersecurity market.

Qualifications & Experience:

The successful candidate should:

  • Be experienced working with, or in, the telecommunications or financial service market
  • Have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in partner marketing
  • Have good business acumen and demonstrable skills interpreting data and performance.
  • Be a proactive individual who will develop and drive programs and reporting without regular oversight, and be a confident communicator
  • Understand the needs of the partner sales team and be considered an invaluable member of the team.
  • Be prepared to travel as needed in support of the partner sales team for meetings, events and enablement of partners
  • Demonstrate a customer-centric approach to business practice
  • You will be native-fluent in German with good English language skills.
