About the Global Incentives & Rebates Team
The Global Incentives & Rebates team supports complex global partner-led sales models across retail, telco, B2B2C, and fintech ecosystems, owning the governance and execution of incentive and rebate programs at scale.
Role Overview
This is a senior commercial finance role supporting complex, partner-led sales models at global scale. The role acts as a primary finance partner to global partner sales teams while owning the governance, accuracy, and execution of incentive and rebate programs. It operates in a highly transactional environment requiring strong attention to detail, commercial judgment, and disciplined execution.
Key Responsibilities
Transaction Processing
- Independently process batches and transactions for multiple incentive plans with accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain mastery of existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Develop and update incentive plans in the sales performance management platform
- Seek opportunities to use AI and emerging technologies to optimize workflows and business operations
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure required approvals and documentation are obtained and validated
- Provide evidence and support for internal and external audits
- Ensure ongoing adherence to SOX controls, maintaining documentation and audit readiness
Subject Matter Expertise
- Serve as the go-to expert for rebate-related processes and systems
- Assist analysts with transaction processing and system setup for new plans and programs
- Act as backup across analysts and maintain cross-training across functional areas
Change Management & Analysis
- Support organizational change initiatives by analyzing new and existing agreements
- Communicate findings on effectiveness, accuracy, and financial performance to stakeholders
Strategic Partnership
- Engage with business partners at all levels to drive effective outcomes in incentive programs
- Act as a catalyst for continuous improvement within the rebate function
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; advanced degree or certification (CPA, CMA) preferred
- 3–5 years professional experience in financial analysis, incentive plan management, or rebate programs
- Strong understanding of compliance, audit requirements, and financial controls
- Proven ability to manage complex processes and lead change initiatives
- Experience with sales performance management platforms such as Exactly Incent, Oracle SPM, CaptivateIQ, Anaplan, Clari, or similar tools
Skills & Competencies
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Expertise in financial systems and incentive plan setup
- Ability to work independently and mentor junior analysts
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to present complex financial data clearly to diverse audiences
- Curiosity and confidence in applying AI for process automation and efficiency
