About The Role:
This is a 3-month full-time (40 hours/week) onsite summer internship, running from June 15th to September 15th.
You’ll be part of our Threat Intelligence Systems team, building systems and tools that help classify threats and improve our understanding of the ever-evolving threat landscape.
In this role, you will:
Collaborate closely with malware analysts and researchers to develop new tools and systems supporting threat intelligence
Contribute to building and improving systems used for threat classification and analysis
Work primarily with the Python stack, with opportunities to explore lower-level languages such as C, C++, or Rust
Gain hands-on experience in a collaborative environment while contributing to real-world cybersecurity challenges
ABOUT YOU:
You have experience building applications in Python.
You are familiar with at least one database management system.
You understand debugging, profiling, and testing of code.
You have experience with Git and collaborating on projects.
You are comfortable communicating in English (both written and spoken).
You are a team player who is ambitious, reliable, flexible, and eager to learn new skills.
Nice to have:
Knowledge of YARA or other pattern-matching languages.
Experience with RabbitMQ or similar message brokering systems.
Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, release processes, monitoring).
Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform or others.
Confidence working with Linux at a power-user level.
