About the role

This is a 3-month full-time (40 hours/week) onsite summer internship, running from June 15th to September 15th.

As an intern, you will support the development of anti-scam protection technologies and contribute to prototyping innovative AI-based solutions for new cybersecurity products. You will join a team focused on tackling the rapidly evolving landscape of online scams through research, data, and advanced machine learning approaches.

About the team

Our team focuses on emerging cybersecurity challenges driven by increasingly autonomous and AI-powered systems. Our mission is to understand and anticipate threats ranging from scams and social engineering to vulnerabilities in agent-based workflows and AI-integrated products. We conduct applied research and develop robust, AI-powered protection mechanisms that can operate in dynamic, adversarial environments. Success in this space requires continuously adapting to evolving attacker tactics, securing agent behavior and decision-making, and building resilient, self-improving systems. We rely on a diverse team of security experts and AI researchers to stay ahead of this rapidly shifting landscape.

What you will do in this role

• Following trends in AI-driven and agentic systems, cybersafety including scams, social engineering, and adversarial use of AI
• Creating datasets for training and evaluating AI-based protection systems, including agent behavior and threat scenarios
• Collaborating with AI and security experts to design and prototype robust, secure AI and agent-based solutions
• Having fun in implementing new and unconventional ideas in cutting-edge cybersecurity domains!

What You’ll Need To Be Successful In This Role

• You have programming or scripting experience in Python
• You have a basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts
• You are familiar with machine learning and/or large language models
• You are curious, proactive, and eager to explore new ideas
• You have good communication and presentation skills
