POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sr IT Support Specialist w ill -under minimal supervision- maintain day to day operational support of all aspects of the IT systems used by Overhaul staff. Responsibilities include maintenance of company network, e nd u ser workstations (PC and Mac), badge access system , camera security systems and all Corporate application accounts.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

  • Understands and applies principles, theories and concepts related to the profession and Overhaul's culture
  • Respond to inquiries, provide assistance and guidance to lower-level workers
  • Provide support to end users for workstation, applications, systems, device access and hardware issues.
  • Identify, research, and resolve the most complex technical problems in a manner that meets the end users’ needs and does not expose Overhaul to any security or licensing risk.
  • Respond to trouble tickets, email and on-line requests for technical support. Ensure that all reported issues are documented, tracked and monitored in applicable systems and tools.
  • Assist in the documentation of common processes and procedures.
  • Develops and maintains strong expertise in Overhaul policies and procedures
  • Responsible for installation, documentation, and connection of all new and existing workstations.
  • Responsible for installation and maintenance of all types of software.
  • Ownership of workstations and peripherals asset tracking systems.
  • Maintain and manage the company physical and cyber security system.
  • Issue new user accounts and access cards to new employees.
  • Evaluate overall systems performance, workflow, procedures and recommend and/or implement changes and improvements as necessary with management approval.
  • Validate all programs and software meet business requirements and do not expose Overhaul to Cyber or licensing risk.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint or other related software applications and able to perform both routine and advanced computer related tasks.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of five years related experience.
  • Experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, etc.)
  • Must support 24×7 GSOC operations with off shift support and occasional on-site support during evenings or weekends.
  • Hands-on experience implementing and administrating on-prem and Cloud based solutions.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Adaptable and quick to learn new processes and tools.
  • Self-directed, goal-oriented and flexible, enjoys working in a fast-paced and at times challenging environment.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal).
