The Role

The Logistics Manager, Mexico is responsible for the end-to-end management of IoT hardware logistics, fulfillment, trade compliance, and vendor operations/management within the MX region. This role requires a high degree of operational ownership: building and maintaining structured processes, driving cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external partners, and ensuring reliable data reporting that supports supply chain decision-making at a regional and global level. The preferred candidate is proactive, self-directed, and able to drive initiatives to completion with minimal supervision. They communicate clearly, effectively, and on time with internal/external stakeholders, escalate blockers appropriately, and take ownership of outcomes across the full scope of their responsibilities. This is an in-person role, with a minimum of five days in office per work week.

Duties Include, but not limited to:

  • Logistics & Fulfillment Operations
    • Source, onboard, and manage logistics vendors and/or service providers to ensure timely, cost-efficient delivery and return of IoT devices in order to support OH MX operations.
    • Review and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments; organize fulfillments workflow to meet customer demands.
    • Manage customer order processing and delivery logistics to ensure customer sites receive product orders on time and at the proper quantity.
    • Manage intra-MX and cross-border logistics flows, including customs compliance, import/export documentation, and trade requirements specific to each movement or SKU type.
    • Lead warehouse and inventory management processes in compliance with company policies; regularly monitor and replenish direct and indirect material inventory.
    • Oversee internal platform and ERP system execution and reconciliation.
  • Device Returns & Life Cycle Management
    • Develop, document, and continuously improve a structured operational process for managing device returns across the OH MX customer base.
    • Identify and activate return lanes for intra-MX and cross-border customer accounts; manage return destinations and logistics in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
    • Track and report key return KPIs at regular intervals, including device return volume, return rate by customer/lane, and cycle time measurements.
    • Coordinates recycle and disposal processes for unserviceable and end-of-life devices.
    • Proactively identify improvement opportunities with the returns program and implement solutions without requiring direct management.
  • Cross-Functional Project Management
    • Leand and own cross-functional logistics and fulfillment projects from initiation to completion, including vendor RFI/RFP processes, technology evaluation, and operational improvement initiatives.
    • Develop and maintain a repeatable project management framework for initiatives involving MX Fulfilment, other internal Supply Chain teams, and the cross-functional departments such as Finance, Sales, KAMs/CSMs.
    • Build project timelines with realistic milestones; conduct regularly scheduled stakeholder check-ins and ensure updates are communicated proactively and on time.
    • Escalate blockers, risks, and dependencies promptly so that delays do not accumulate.
    • Develop and publish relevant Standard Operating Procedures for key processes after alignment with relevant stakeholders.
  • Reporting, Data Integrity, & Communication
    • Maintain accurate, up-to-date data in all relevant tracking tools, sheets, and systems on a consistent and timely basis to support Supply Chain analysis and leadership decision-making.
    • Generate and maintain monthly reports covering fulfillment volume, reverse logistics performance, logistics and warehousing spend, cost savings initiatives, and productivity/capacity of the frontline team.
    • Respond to all internal and external communications – including requests, reporting updates, and project correspondence – within one business day.
    • Proactively communicate operational risks, projected status updates, and blockers to stakeholders and relevant leadership.
    • Provide Fulfillment and Logistics support to customer-facing teams and ensure accurate and timely information.
    • Ensure compliance with all NOM and trade certification requirements, including proactive management and monitoring of renewal timelines.

Technical Requirements:

  • Excellent PC skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Outlook.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the order fulfillment process, facility policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate the ability to learn and understand warehouse ERP systems. NetSuite preferred
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Logistics, Transportation, Warehousing, Production management, and/or Fulfillment is required.
  • Working knowledge of MX import/export regulations, customs procedures, and cross-border logistics requirements.
  • Education in operations or logistics, or relevant industry experience is preferred. Minimum 2 years’ experience in leadership role
  • Experience conducting and managing RFI/RFP processes and evaluating third-party service providers preferred.

Skill Set Requirement:

  • Bilingual English and Spanish required; excellent verbal, written, and listening skills in both languages.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive projects and processes to completion independently, without requiring repeated direction or escalation from management.
  • Proactive cross-functional collaborator who engages stakeholders, communicates impediments early, and takes ownership of outcomes.
  • Data-disciplined: maintains accurate records and reports consistently and uses data to identify operational improvement opportunities.
  • Strong analytical and planning skills with close attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented; able to work effectively under pressure and adapt to a dynamic operating environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to support internal and external partners in a timely and professional manner.
