Who is RTS:

Recycle Track Systems (RTS) was developed with a desire to do better. We are committed to evolving and challenging the waste industry to be better stewards of the environment. We utilize technology, data analytics, sustainability expertise, and operational excellence to help people and businesses incorporate sustainability into their daily routines. Our passion for sustainability and innovation allows for us to guide businesses to a future of reaching a goal of zero waste.

Our technology platform utilizes sensors, GPS tracking, and highly engaged partner haulers to provide waste management and recycling services and track materials from their source to recycling and composting facilities. Our sustainability experts analyze the data generated by the platform to help our customers make tangible improvements to their waste management and recycling efforts. Ultimately, we are innovating to treat waste as a component material for other products in the circular economy so that as little as possible is deposited into landfills or incinerators.

What we need:

We are looking for a highly skilled and solutions-oriented Senior Business Analyst, ERP with deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations or a comparable enterprise system. In this role, you will be the functional lead responsible for translating business processes into effective system design and configuration, ensuring our ERP supports scalable, accurate, and efficient financial and operational performance.

If you are a proactive problem solver with strong technical configuration skills and the ability to drive cross-functional alignment, this is an opportunity to shape how our systems evolve as we grow. You will collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, and Engineering teams while leading moderate-scale ERP projects from discovery through go-live.

This role is ideal for an experienced ERP professional who combines strong analytical skills with project leadership and a hands-on approach to functional configuration and process improvement.

This position is remote and available to candidates in Canada and US applicants residing in the following states: Arizona, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, and Washington.

What People say about You:

You are known for your ability to bring structure and clarity to complex ERP initiatives. You understand business processes deeply and can translate them into scalable system solutions without overengineering. Cross-functional partners appreciate your ability to keep conversations focused, simplify complexity, and communicate clearly.

You are analytical, thorough, and methodical. You enjoy solving process challenges, mapping workflows, and designing configurations that enhance accuracy and efficiency. Teams rely on your strong organization, proactive communication, and commitment to delivering high-quality results, especially during testing cycles and go-live events.

You manage competing priorities well, stay calm under deadlines, and maintain a collaborative mindset across all phases of a project.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead discovery sessions to understand and document business requirements across core F&O modules
  • Translate business processes into Functional Design Documents, workflows, and process maps
  • Conduct fit-gap analyses to determine where standard F&O functionality meets needs and where extensions are required
  • Perform hands-on configuration within F&O, including legal entity setup, chart of accounts, financial dimensions, workflows, posting profiles, and related settings
  • Use Power Platform tools and Electronic Reporting to improve workflows, automation, and document outputs
  • Oversee data migration activities using DIXF, ensuring accuracy and integrity throughout the migration process
  • Serve as Project Lead for mid-sized ERP initiatives, including module deployments, new entities, and ISV integrations
  • Manage work items, project timelines, sprints, and release cycles
  • Partner with technical architects and developers to design and validate custom enhancements when configuration alone is not sufficient
  • Define and execute testing strategies, including RSAT coordination and script development
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing and manage cutover planning for go-live
  • Identify opportunities to improve system configuration, process efficiency, and data quality
