Essential Functions:

• Design, test and implement desktop (Windows and Mac) deployment and maintenance solutions.
• Provide hands-on technical support to in-office and remote staff as needed.
• Coach and mentor junior IT staff to ensure consistency in processes and best practices are being followed amongst the IT department.
• Design, test and implement GPOs to be used across desktops and servers.
• Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell.
• Act as a 2nd line of support for desktop and server related issues.
• Domain administration (DHCP, DNS, AD, Kerberos, certificates, GPOs)
• Effective collaboration amongst team members to support VMware, Azure, firewalls, storage and networking infrastructure.
• Demonstrates sound judgement and decision making while serving as the final point of escalation regarding VMware, Azure, firewalls, storage and networking infrastructure.
• Build VMs and other virtual infrastructure as requested.
• Ensure compliance across all virtualized resources.
• Maintain detailed documentation on all designs, procedures and policies.
• Produce regular reporting on cloud cost analysis, provide recommendations and make changes to reduce cost in cloud environments.
• Perform regular InTune administration functions.
• Be a point of contact for vendors as a technical resource.
• Remote access solution implementation and support including VPN design and implementation.
  
  

Requirements:

• Experience resolving complex hardware related issues.
• Experience managing a 500+ server environment using automated processes is a must.
• 10+ years of experience supporting infrastructure in an enterprise environment (500+ users).
• Familiarity with GPOs.
• Azure cloud experience. Minimum Azure AD administration, preferable Azure VM administration.
• Ability to configure and troubleshoot network equipment including routers, switches and firewalls.
• Proficiency with VMware including installing and administering vCenter.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while maintaining attention to detail.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
