About Take Command

Take Command is a start-up on a mission to improve the healthcare system, starting with health insurance. Pragmatically speaking, we help employers reimburse employees for individual insurance instead of offering a traditional one-size-fits-all group plan. We believe this model can empower employees (when they have the right support) to be savvy healthcare consumers and have a transformative impact on the entire healthcare system.

Let’s be honest—health insurance is usually a confusing, frustrating, and even emotional experience for people. We want to fix that with a new model, great technology, and a superior user experience. We have made a great start, but we need your help to fully realize our long-term vision.

About the Role:

We are hiring a Manager of Growth and Partnerships to take ownership of our partner-led lead generation channel. You’ll be responsible for managing current partner relationships, launching newly signed opportunities, and executing scalable strategies to increase qualified leads from our external partner network. You’ll serve as the go-to point of contact for partners, train their teams on how to bring leads to Take Command, and work cross-functionally with Sales Ops and Marketing to improve partner-facing processes. This role is ideal for someone who is a self-starter, excellent communicator, and passionate about building repeatable systems that drive growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a relationship owner for channel partners and external sellers

  • Train partner teams on product knowledge and lead submission processes

  • Strategically identify and onboard new partners aligned with business goals

  • Build and optimize repeatable processes to manage and scale the partner pipeline

  • Coordinate with Sales Ops to iterate on workflows and improve lead tracking

  • Report on lead volume, lead quality, and win rates by partner channel

  • Regularly communicate partnership performance metrics to internal stakeholders

Performance Standards

Daily Activity

  • Host partner trainings to drive engagement and performance

  • Answer questions from external sellers promptly and professionally

  • Maintain consistent outreach to partners to support lead flow and pipeline growth

Outcomes

  • Achieve daily lead tracking goals across established and new partners

  • Improve lead quality from partner sources (as shown in win rates)

  • Ensure new partnerships are activated and producing within the first year

Expertise & Strategic Contribution

  • Build trust and credibility with partners through reliable execution and communication

  • Provide insights to senior leadership on resource allocation and partnership performance

  • Create documentation and systems that can be handed off to future team members

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in partner management, account management, sales enablement, or B2B growth

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience presenting or training externally

  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

  • Professional, highly organized, and detail-oriented

  • Experience with CRM and sales enablement tools preferred

  • Bonus: experience in health benefits, insurance, or HR tech

Compensation: $85,000 - $90,000 + potential $20,000 bonus
