The Role

TripleLift is hiring a "Country Manager France" (m/f/d) to join their European Management team. The Country Manager France is a new highly strategic and visible position within the company and will deliver first-class sales leadership for the International Sales organization. Reporting to the SVP, International Sales, they will design and deliver the vision, strategy and execution that drives exceptional flywheel growth for publishers through advertisers/agencies and DSP partnerships. An empathetic and analytical sales leader, with a decade of experience (including years) operating at this level, they will have a significant network within the agency leadership and/or direct advertisers and/or DSP and/or publishers. They will have an intimate knowledge of how to lead, coach, and mentor a team of sales directors and sales managers, using input and output metric (Revenue Operations / account coverage), incentive, training, Go To Market / Sales Enablement and ‘in the arena’ selling (play/coach). They ideally have practiced Media Selling (inclusive of CTV and/or Retail Media) and/or Tech selling in a Media environment (DSP, SSP, Adserving, DMP/CDP, etc).

This Country Manager France will be responsible for supporting new and existing business across the entire French market, creating an actionable plan of execution for account prioritization, and selling TripleLift’s full suite of programmatic and managed service solutions - inclusive of Native, Display, CTV, Video and Data. The best candidate brings C-level relationships with them to the table, and is comfortable presenting at both a tactical and strategic level; all the while evangelizing, educating and influencing agency key decision makers.

The Country Manager will lead a team of 3 sellers on the ground and will be in charge of their management, target setting and career monitoring. Additionally, the Country Manager will be involved in our Publishers business monitoring its health by working closely with our Publishers Revenue Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and grow relationships with Senior / Executive HoldCo agencies, key advertisers, trading desks and DSP contacts
  • Territory Leadership - creating team goals, OKRs, hiring, overseeing team training
  • Lead sales and business development activities for all major HoldCo agency accounts
  • Designing and driving the Vision, Strategy, Execution and Metrics for new business generation, revenue retention, key account growth and product diversification
  • Negotiating and structuring trading agreements that drive client adoption of TripleLift's product portfolio and achieves revenue growth, across Native, Display, Instream, CTV
  • Driving maintenance of multiple teams' sales pipeline, accurately and effectively forecasting monthly and quarterly sales, and providing pipeline analysis to inform leadership and course correct to goals
  • Influencing Product Roadmap prioritization with the CRO and CPO
  • Influencing GTM strategy with our CMO and CPO
  • Meet/exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals according to sales plan
  • Establishing and growing relationships with senior-level decision-makers within the largest independent agencies and holding companies
  • Attending industry events, networking effectively, speaking with confidence as a representative of TripleLift
  • Presenting TripleLift's solutions to key decision-makers within holding companies, agencies and top 100 brands

Qualifications:

  • Experience selling into an agency holding company
  • 10+ years of experience leading a national organization in the Digital Advertising industry
  • Significant business-development experience, including leading pitches
  • Deep understanding of the agency landscape and how to identify who really has influence
  • A prodigious agency rolodex (executives, discipline leads and account leads) and stellar market reputation
  • Experience in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing start-up environment
  • Peerless communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to think around the corner and anticipate publisher, advertiser and agency needs
  • Ability to influence and communicate with cross-functional internal teams
  • Solid understanding of digital advertising including SSP-DSP dynamics, CTV, programmatic landscape, and general sales process
  • Motivated team leader who consistently strives to exceed goals and push expectations
  • Comfortable taking ownership of projects and showcasing key accomplishments
  • Strives for continued learning opportunities to build upon craft
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work individually and collaboratively
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Ability to accept feedback and constructive critique positively
  • Extremely strong and demonstrable work ethic
  • CTV or Retail Media experience is a plus
