The Role
TripleLift is looking for a Junior Front-End Engineer to join the FO team and contribute to building and optimizing front-end templates and components that drive measurable business outcomes. You’ll work with modern JavaScript frameworks, follow engineering best practices, and be mentored by senior engineers to grow your technical skill set.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain responsive web templates using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (React preferred).
Collaborate with cross-functional partners including product managers, designers, and solutions engineers to translate requirements into scalable code. - Participate in code reviews, stand-ups, and sprint planning sessions.
- Optimize performance and accessibility of web pages across devices and browsers.
- Assist in tracking and resolving bugs or front-end issues reported by stakeholders.
- Learn and follow established coding standards, version control workflows, and deployment processes.
- Continuously develop your technical and professional skillset with support from senior team members.
Desired Skills & Attributes
- 0–2 years of experience in front-end engineering or a relevant internship, co-op, or academic project work.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (React or similar modern framework is a plus).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git), and browser debugging tools.
- Strong attention to detail, especially around UI/UX and performance optimization.
- A collaborative attitude and eagerness to learn in a team environment.
- Bonus: Experience with templating engines, A/B testing frameworks, or basic analytics tools.
Education Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a STEM-related field (Master’s degree preferred).
