Position Overview
The Sr. Manager, Implementations/Business Delivery is responsible for leading technical projects and programs that span across the Claims Cost Solutions (CCS) business unit, as well as other business units.
As the Sr. Manager of the Business Delivery team, you will be responsible for driving operational enhancements, business processes and management reporting. You will be responsible for providing team development, coaching, training while achieving established goals and department objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide oversight and escalation path for ongoing service and management of new business initiatives, software upgrades, new releases, and enhancements
Meet or exceed client expectations by building relationships, facilitating meetings, and resolving issues
Establish team standards for creating and maintaining project plans, status reports, and other documentation
Develop and align personal and organizational team goals for assigned reports and support initiatives/trainings for team to meet or exceed expectations
Develop a high performing team with individual growth and career path objectives through the development of one on one meetings, providing constructive feedback and coaching where necessary
Represent the Program Managers in company workstream discussions/meetings and advocate for the team
Contribute to work effort outcomes by effective team and capacity planning, project scope management, resource allocation and negotiation, risk mitigation, cost management, and escalation communication
Drive continuous process improvements within the Business Delivery Team. Ensure compliance with all applicable requirements
Manage relationships with key internal stakeholders
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience directly managing people
10+ years in the technology and/or healthcare industry or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Qualifications
Successful management of a team of resources, including development of goals and adhering to standards/best practices
Demonstrate high-level technical understanding of business requirements as they pertain to Project Management principles and the project lifecycle including excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills including writing, presenting, listening, and facilitating and including experience presenting to work effort participants, stakeholders and all levels of management
Proven track record meeting budget and managing variances, managing project teams to meet aggressive timelines, and requirement targets
Self-starter and ability to work in a faced paced environment
Ability to work cross-functionally as part of a dynamic team
Ability to think strategically and understand operational objectives
Project Management Professional certification
Experience leading and working within agile teams (including but limited to roadmap and change management)
Experience working cross- lines of business and with outside vendors
Proven experience establishing/building a PMO (working with both agile and waterfall methodology)
Proven experience working with cross functional teams and leadership to establish processes, governance, metrics, etc
Travel
- 15-20% travel
