We are looking for a Director of Marketing Analytics who will lead Zelis’s marketing data analysis team. In this role you will be responsible for leading data-driven decision-making, providing strategic guidance to marketing and sales colleagues, and overseeing the implementation of advanced marketing analytics solutions. You will play a key role in aligning marketing efforts with business goals by developing leading indicators, creating new and improving existing key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing consulting and guidance in efforts to optimize marketing strategies.

This position reports to the Vice President of Marketing Analytics and Insights and has considerable exposure to executive leadership. The ability to present complex analytical concepts to varied audiences and to utilize data to influence decision-makers is key. This role is seen as helping to shape the overall success of Zelis products by sifting through data and engaging both marketing and sales to learn from both successes and failures with a concise analytical view.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership - Lead and inspire a team of marketing analytics and insights analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.

  • Analytics – Develop sophisticated analytical techniques to tackle critical marketing challenges, including attribution modeling, ROI, lead-to-sales conversion, A/B testing, and other KPIs.

  • Consulting – Principal source of comprehensive analysis for marketing colleagues and other interdisciplinary functions regarding the business performance and trends of marketing initiatives and their impact on the business units, especially sales. Delivering actionable insights and consistent root-cause analysis for rapid decision-making across business units.

  • Innovation – Ensure a culture of openness and willingness to pursue experimentation while establishing efficient processes within the marketing analytics and insights team.

What You Will Bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in a marketing analytics and/or operations role; preferably in a B2B environment.

  • Advanced knowledge of CRM and marketing tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics) as well as data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI).

  • Passion for bringing process and structure to support data-driven decisions.

  • Past experience working with interdisciplinary functions such as marketing and sales in a data analytics role.

  • Data visualization and dashboard creation experience.

  • Proven leadership skills with a team of highly analytical individuals.

  • Ability to manage relationships with third-party vendors, contractors, and outside consultants.

  • Growth-oriented and adaptable; able to excel in fast-paced environments with complex data needs.

  • Strong track record of mentoring individuals and growing teams.

  • Must be a self-starter and quick learner with a desire to learn.

  • Healthcare industry experience a plus but not required.


  • Bachelors in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or Statistics; Master’s degree highly desired (MBA, MS, MA). Direct experience in lieu of both advanced degree or other major field will be considered.
