Manager-Smartshopper Incentive Accounting

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee weekly Smartshopper incentive check processing, including the banking and the accounting system (Workday) activities
  • Monitor and manage client incentive funds and partner with Client Performance Management (CPM) team to address funding status, concerns and issues
  • Partner with Personal Assistant Team (PAT) and CPM team management to resolve customer needs, improve processes, and create efficiencies
  • Define, monitor and manage internal SLA’s for responding to requests, voiding and reissuing Incentive Checks, processing exception payments, and other activities
  • Provide reporting and analytics of Smartshopper related financial metrics, including balance and usage of all client incentive funds, on hold trends, funds utilization, and reward volume trends, to key stakeholders
  • Partner with CPM team and billing and collections team regarding open client incentive invoices and work to resolution
  • Oversee the escheatment of uncashed Smartshopper Incentive checks in accordance with State regulations
  • Identify opportunities to improve Smartshopper financial processes and lead initiatives to implement and socialize
  • Work closely with and support the Accounting team in performing monthly client incentive liability and cash balance reconciliations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with appropriate experience
  • Minimum of 5-7 years progressive experience in accounts payable, accounting or financial analyst role
  • Experience in high volume transaction environment
  • Experienced Excel user with knowledge of functions and pivot tables
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
  • Results driven self-starter with experience managing processes and teams
  • Excellent written and oral communication
