Capacity Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead ongoing capacity planning initiatives throughout the year, collaborating with teams to gather, refine, and validate inputs.

  • Partner with Finance and HR departments to integrate engineering, product, and client operations headcount into the annual and quarterly plans.

  • Oversee and refine the capacity model & future state tooling to ensure accurate forecasting and effective capacity utilization.

  • Translate highly technical concepts into simpler terms to be understood by non-technical audiences through thought leadership in trainings, documentation, and other forms.

  • Lead and develop for future state capacity tooling, ensuring the tools are aligned with our business needs.

  • Regularly monitor capacity data, comparing planned vs. actual utilization, and provide insights to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) & team leads.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally, potentially with resources from Finance, Corporate Strategy, and Business Operations.

  • Travel - 20%to 25%

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of scrum and agile methodologies and working knowledge of common technical languages and processes (e.g. JQL/SQL, Github, PRs, sprint planning etc.)

  • Proven experience in operations, project management, or a similar role.

  • Strong analytical skills with an aptitude for data-driven decision-making.

  • Proficient in planning tools and methodologies.

  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, particularly within technical teams.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority.
