Position Overview

The Price Optimization Platform Consolidation Program Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of strategic projects and programs utilizing disciplined project management governance in close collaboration with leadership, cross-functional teams, and business partners across the organization. This position assumes end-to-end accountability for single or multiple projects and large programs consisting of multiple projects.

The Program Manager will coordinate the work of multiple projects, maintain interlocking schedules, track task completion and status reporting. In this role, the Program Manager will drive all stages of the project management lifecycle facilitating collaboration and documentation between the business, product, sales, and technology teams, including, but not limited to, assisting with discovery, requirements, standard operating procedures, and necessary collaterals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate, partner, and communicate effectively with all levels of an organization, including executive leaders

  • Coordinate customer calls and attend to document notes, requests, and action items

  • Development and ongoing management of project plans, status, and performance metric reporting

  • Set objectives, assign tasks, and agree to timetables for achieving intermediate and overall goals

  • Drive initiatives focused on innovation, efficiency, controls, standard processes & cost saving opportunities

  • Regularly attends, participates, and documents inter-departmental discussions and meetings

  • Gather, analyze, and document business, system, operational and reporting requirements in a formalized manner

  • Regularly meet with business users to ensure detailed understanding of their operational processes

  • Track operational improvement initiatives to ensure financial value and/or savings are realized

Required Qualifications

  • 15 + years program or large-scale project management experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business

Preferred Qualifications

  • CAPM or PMP Certification preferred

  • Healthcare, Payors, Health Insurance Industry experience

  • Experience with work management tools

  • Experience managing complex multi-workstream and time sensitive projects and programs

  • Experience in customer/client facing roles on cross-functional projects

  • Demonstrated attention to detail, commitment to continuous improvement, and focus on excellence in work product delivery

  • Demonstrated ability to use quantitative data to inform decisions

  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively manage relationships with internal business customers and external clients

  • Demonstrated success driving results, identifying, and solving issues, and sound decision making

  • Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing business needs and creating necessary documentation and system improvements request to optimize functionality and productivity

  • Adapt at identifying issues, driving to root cause and able to negotiate solutions

  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively manage relationships with internal business customers and external clients
