The Mac Endpoint Engineer is responsible for managing, deploying, and securing Apple devices in the organization using the JAMF Pro platform. The administrator will also provide technical support and troubleshooting for Apple users and devices, as well as collaborate with other IT teams to ensure compliance and security standards.

Location and Workplace Flexibility: We have offices in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St. Louis MO, St. Petersburg FL, and Hyderabad, India. In-office work and activities, if applicable, vary based on the work and team objectives in accordance with Company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain JAMF Pro infrastructure, including backups, updates, and patches.

  • Deploy and configure Apple devices using JAMF Pro policies, profiles, scripts, and packages.

  • Enroll and manage Apple devices using Apple Business Manager and Apple School Manager.

  • Monitor and report on the status and inventory of Apple devices using JAMF Pro dashboards and reports.

  • Implement and enforce security policies and settings for Apple devices using JAMF Pro and other tools.

  • Support and troubleshoot Apple devices and applications, including macOS

  • Provide training and documentation for Apple users and IT staff on JAMF Pro and Apple device management.

  • Research and evaluate new Apple technologies and solutions.

  • Collaborate with other IT teams and vendors to ensure integration and compatibility of Apple devices and services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • At least 3 years of experience in managing and supporting Apple devices and JAMF Pro in an enterprise environment.

  • Certification in JAMF Pro or JAMF 100, 200, and 300 courses.

  • Knowledge of Apple device management best practices and standards, including MDM, DEP, VPP, and APNs.

  • Proficiency in macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and tvOS operating systems and applications.

  • Experience in scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or other languages.

  • Experience in network and security technologies, such as VPN, firewall, encryption, and authentication.

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
