Disaster Recovery IT Engineer -1

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery plans and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify critical systems and processes.
- Design and implement disaster recovery solutions, including backup and recovery strategies.
- Coordinate and conduct regular disaster recovery testing and drills.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure alignment of disaster recovery plans with business objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of disaster recovery plans and make necessary adjustments.
- Provide training and support to staff on disaster recovery procedures.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to disaster recovery and business continuity.
- Respond to and manage actual disaster recovery events, ensuring timely restoration of services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Over 7 years of experience in disaster recovery planning and implementation.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
- Experience with disaster recovery tools and technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
