Position Overview
Role OverviewThe Associate Project Manager will play a key role in supporting the Director of Payment Lifecycle by managing and maintaining the operational structure of ongoing improvement initiatives. This role involves organizing, tracking, and communicating the status of various projects, ensuring clarity and consistency across the initiative portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Initiative Management:
• Maintain a centralized inventory of all active and planned initiatives.
• Ensure initiatives are correctly labeled and categorized according to scope, priority, and impact.
• Update initiative status weekly, reflecting progress, blockers, and changes.
• Add new initiatives and relevant documentation as needed.
Information Governance
• Ensure initiative records are complete, accurate, and up to date.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather information or clarify project details.
• Support version control and historical tracking of initiative changes.
Reporting & Communication
• Prepare weekly summaries and dashboards for leadership review.
• Highlight key updates, risks, and dependencies across initiatives.
• Assist in preparing materials for cross-functional meetings and reviews.
Process Support
• Identify opportunities to improve initiative tracking and reporting workflows.
• Support the Director in identifying and implementing process enhancements across the payment lifecycle.
• Document and standardize best practices for initiative management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 2–4 years of experience in project coordination or project management.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in payment operations or financial services is a plus.
