Position Overview

The Manager, Implementation is responsible for overseeing the successful deployment and integration of products, services, or solutions for clients. This role involves managing implementation projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that client requirements are met on time and within budget. The Manager will lead a team of implementation specialists and work closely with clients to ensure a smooth and efficient implementation process.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and manage implementation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with client expectations.

  • Partner with Implementation Leads to develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and effectively acting as the primary point of contact for escalated issues.

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of implementation specialists to ensure high performance and productivity.

  • Provide training, support, and development opportunities to team members.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development.

  • Continuously evaluate and improve implementation processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve the implementation experience for clients.

  • Work closely with other departments, such as sales, product development, and customer support, to ensure a seamless implementation process.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve any technical or operational issues.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of implementation projects.

  • Provide regular reports and analysis to senior management on implementation performance and metrics.

  • Identify potential risks and assist on developing mitigation strategies to ensure successful implementation.

  • Monitor and report on risk factors and their impact on project timelines and outcomes.

  • Develop and deliver training programs to clients to ensure they are fully equipped to use the implemented products or services.

  • Provide ongoing support to client's post-implementation to ensure continued success and satisfaction.

What you’ll bring to Zelis:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field. Or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of 6-8 + years of experience in implementation, project management, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in managing complex implementation projects.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.

We have offices in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St. Louis MO, St. Petersburg FL, and Hyderabad, India.
