Position Overview

Are you passionate about blending strategic thinking with operational rigor? Do you thrive in environments where collaboration, innovation, and organizational alignment are key to success? We are seeking a Strategic Operations and Events Manager to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for operationalizing core role strategies, maintaining and evolving roles and responsibilities (R&R), and ensuring the development and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) derived from RACI matrices and business unit (BU) collaboration. In addition, you will manage flagship events such as the CM Summit, Sales & CM Summit, and Client Councils, supporting organizational objectives and fostering stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operationalize Role Strategy: Transform high-level role strategies and organizational directives into actionable plans and processes. You will ensure that strategies are understood, adopted, and implemented consistently across all relevant teams.

  • Roles & Responsibilities Management: Oversee the ongoing definition, refinement, and documentation of roles and responsibilities. Collaborate with business units and cross-functional partners to update R&R and ensure clarity in team deliverables.

  • SOP Development and Maintenance: Create, update, and maintain standard operating procedures based on RACI frameworks and stakeholder input. Ensure all processes are documented, accessible, and communicated across the organization.

  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Serve as a bridge between departments to align operational activities with broader organizational objectives. Facilitate discussions and workshops to foster understanding, remove barriers, and drive adherence to best practices.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Gather feedback, drive consensus, and ensure that the needs of each stakeholder group are represented in operational plans and event execution.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for efficiency and performance improvement in operational processes and event management. Champion a culture of innovation, measurement, and iterative refinement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Organizational Agility: Demonstrated experience working across departments and functions to achieve alignment and drive organizational objectives.

  • Process Design & Documentation: Strong ability to create, document, and optimize operational processes. Experience with RACI matrices and SOP development is highly desirable.

  • Strategic Planning: Proven skill in translating strategy into operational initiatives, with the ability to anticipate potential challenges and devise solutions.

  • Event Management Expertise: Significant experience in planning, managing, and executing high-profile events for diverse audiences. Ability to coordinate logistics, budgets, and communications with precision.

  • Communication & Facilitation: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Experience leading workshops, meetings, and presentations to cross-functional teams.

  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to engage, negotiate, and build consensus among multiple stakeholder groups both internally and externally.

  • Project Management: Skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced environments, with attention to detail and commitment to deadlines.

  • Adaptability: Comfortable with ambiguity and change, able to pivot strategies and processes as organizational needs evolve.

  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with project management and documentation tools, event management platforms, and collaboration software.
