Position Overview
Zelis is seeking a motivated UAT Support Engineer to support and maintain lower (UAT) environments for enterprise .NET-based applications. This role plays a key part in ensuring successful User Acceptance Testing by troubleshooting application issues, supporting release validation, and partnering with clients and internal teams to deliver stable testing environments.This is a hands-on technical role combining application support, UAT coordination, and structured change management.
What You’ll Do:
Support and maintain UAT environments for .NET-based applications
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to plan and execute UAT testing
Research and troubleshoot issues involving APIs, batch processing, and data validation
Perform SQL-based analysis to investigate and resolve testing issues
Support release deployments and structured change management processes
Work with clients to create and execute test scripts as needed
Document findings, maintain rollback standards, and track UAT sign-offs
Identify opportunities to improve UAT processes and environment stability
What You’ll Bring to Zelis:
2–5+ years of experience in application support, QA, or UAT support
Must have SQL skills for troubleshooting and validation
Must have experience with monitoring tools (e.g. New Relic, LogicMonitor or similar)
Understanding of UAT processes and testing methodologies
Working knowledge of .NET applications and REST APIs preferred
Experience with ticketing or defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
Understanding of batch processing or job schedulers
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Skills:
Exposure to AWS and/or Microsoft Azure environments
Interest in cloud migrations and hybrid architectures
Experience with automation or scripting (PowerShell, Python, etc.)
Familiarity with AI tools or LLM-assisted workflow improvements
Experience in regulated or payments-related environments
